HDI Organizes Webinar on Haiti's National COVID-19 Response
As the destruction wrought by the new coronavirus marches around the world, we watch with trepidation as the infection numbers in Haiti begin to climb. Haiti enters this new crisis extremely vulnerable, as it comes on the heels of difficult years of political unrest and economic disruption. Many fear that Haiti is not equipped to survive additional shocks. We know you are worried about COVID-19’s impact and seeking ways to help.
Learn from leaders of the Haitian-led National COVID-19 Response Commission about the Commission's Plan for addressing the COVID-19 crisis and how efforts are being managed and coordinated, and from health care experts on what is being done and what the needs are. We hope to leverage the opportunity for alignment, collaboration and increased impact.
Panelists:
Dr. Vanessa Rouzier, GHESKIO
Mr. Paul Auxila, Comptroller General of Operations for the Commission
Dr. Inobert Pierre, Health Equity International (formerly St Boniface Hospital)
The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Ryan Jiha, Program Officer – Haiti, W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
